A Bright Station in Global Education
Mohammed Al Qassim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, underscored that hosting this international scientific event highlights the UAE’s position as a global center of excellence in education and research. He thanked the national teams and academic partners for their relentless efforts in making this Olympiad a success.
Intense Scientific Competitions
The Olympiad featured intense competitions among participating teams, in which students underwent two main tests—one theoretical and the other practical—designed according to the highest international standards. An international scientific committee, comprising 23 experts from 12 countries, oversaw the preparation and execution of these tests. Additionally, over 120 researchers and assistant researchers from the United Arab Emirates University contributed, reflecting the tremendous scientific effort and quality of academic content, with over 10,000 hours dedicated to preparations.
Team UAE: A Commitment to Excellence
The UAE team at the 2025 Olympiad consisted of four talented students, selected through a rigorous national screening process. The team underwent an intensive training program that lasted several months, which included specialized workshops and scientific camps both within the country and abroad. Notably, a training camp took place at the Sirius Center in Russia, culminating with a final camp at UAE University. This initiative demonstrates the ministry’s commitment to cultivating qualified national talents prepared to compete in international scientific arenas.
