Dubai Real Estate Achieves Impressive 5.9 Billion Dollar Sales

The Dubai real estate sector recorded a remarkable AED21.67 billion ($5.9 billion) in transactions last week, underscoring the continued strength of this thriving market. This surge included notable high-value sales, such as an $18 million apartment in the prestigious Atlantis Resort and Residences. The latest data from the Land Department highlights not only robust sales activity but also the diverse range of transactions and investments taking place across the city.

Sales transactions made a significant contribution to the overall figures, totaling AED13.17 billion ($3.6 billion), as reported by the Land Department data. This dynamic activity reflects Dubai’s allure as a leading global destination for real estate investment.

During the week of January 5 to 12, the Dubai real estate sector recorded an impressive 3,704 sales transactions. This vibrant activity is indicative of sustained demand for properties across the emirate.

Dubai Real Estate Last Week

Among the standout sales transactions recorded in the Land Department’s report were several high-end properties. Notable highlights include an apartment in Atlantis Resort and Residences located on Palm Jumeirah, which was sold for AED65 million ($17.7 million), reinforcing the property’s enviable status in the luxury market. Additionally, another luxury apartment in AVA at Palm Jumeirah fetched AED54 million ($14.7 million), while a stunning apartment in the Mercedes-Benz Places/Binghatti development, situated in the iconic Burj Khalifa district, sold for AED50 million ($13.6 million).

In addition to the impressive sales figures, the Land Department also recorded mortgage deals valued at AED7.09 billion ($1.9 billion) during the same week. The variety of financing options available continues to attract both local and international investors.

Further emphasizing the vibrant real estate landscape, gift transactions for the week reached AED1.41 billion ($384 million), indicating a strong trend in property gifting among buyers, further enriching the community’s dynamics.
