In a move that reflects its commitment to integrating various segments of society, Dubai Police celebrated the success of five-year-old Hoor Majid Matar, the daughter of one of its employees with determination. Hoor successfully completed the rehabilitation and therapy phase at Sanad Village, paving the way for her to join inclusive schools in Dubai in the upcoming academic year. This celebration highlights the significant efforts made by Dubai Police to support and empower individuals with determination and ensure they receive the necessary assistance.
Special Graduation Celebration for Hoor
During the graduation ceremony at Sanad Village, a celebration was held to honor Hoor Majid Matar along with several other individuals with determination who completed their academic year. This event exemplified how Dubai Police contributes to empowering community members from all backgrounds, especially those facing specific challenges. The celebration not only acknowledged Hoor’s achievements but also the ongoing efforts to provide inclusive education for all.
Dubai Police’s Commitment to Supporting Individuals with Determination
Samira Thabet, a member of the Empowerment Council for Individuals with Determination, stated that Dubai Police is committed to supporting this group. She emphasized that the goal is to build an inclusive community that provides equal opportunities for all its members. “Thanks to her strong will, the support of her family, and the Sanad Village team, along with the backing of Dubai Police, Hoor has overcome her challenges and completed her rehabilitation program to embark on a new phase in Dubai’s inclusive schools,” Thabet added.
Hoor’s Family Pride in Her Achievements
Hoor’s father, Captain Majid Matar Andiz, expressed his pride in his daughter’s achievement in joining Dubai’s inclusive schools. He confirmed that Dubai Police, through the medical committee and the Empowerment Council for Individuals with Determination, provided significant support that contributed to the noticeable progress in Hoor’s behavior and social communication. He spoke about the challenges she faced: “Hoor was born with a congenital deformity and multiple disabilities, and she struggled with speech and communication. As a result of the therapy sessions she underwent at Sanad Village for three and a half years, she has been able to express her needs clearly, improve her eye contact, gain greater independence, and enhance her participation in activities.”
Celebrating the success of the daughter of an employee with determination demonstrates how willpower and strong community support can make a real difference in individuals’ lives, promoting the values of inclusivity and integration in Dubai.
