Deliveroo has created a modern home-like lounge for delivery drivers by converting a double-decker bus into a fully air-conditioned space resembling a living room. This lounge provides a calm and comfortable environment that enables drivers to relax and cool off between their frequent trips. The lounge also includes a selection of cold refreshments and comfortable furniture, helping drivers regain their energy and alleviate work pressure during the scorching summer months.

The lounge is part of Deliveroo’s ongoing efforts to support delivery drivers by providing mobile and fixed rest areas in various locations across the UAE. The support programs offered to drivers include providing heat-protective gear such as cooling vests and electrolyte solution bags, as well as daily distribution of cold water at various work sites.
