As the joyous occasion of Eid Al-Adha approaches, Dubai Ambulance has announced its comprehensive operational plan to ensure the safety and health of residents and visitors during the celebrations. This proactive initiative highlights the organization’s commitment to providing quick and reliable emergency medical services throughout Dubai, showcasing the city’s dedication to safeguarding public health during festive gatherings.
Preparations for Eid Celebrations
Dubai’s Ambulance Services have declared their state of readiness for the upcoming Eid Al-Adha festivities. The organization has developed a detailed operational plan aimed at enhancing emergency response times and ensuring consistent, high-quality medical care around the clock for both residents and visitors. According to the Executive Director, Mishaal Abdul Kareem Jalfar, operational readiness will be elevated during this festive period through the strategic placement of ambulance teams across vital, residential, and tourist areas.
Deployment of Emergency Teams
The initiative will see 960 qualified ambulance personnel and field supervisors stationed at 160 emergency points throughout the emirate. This extensive network encompasses event sites, public parks, beaches, shopping centers, and airports, ensuring a swift response to any emergency calls in compliance with the highest professional and medical standards. Emphasizing readiness, Jalfar stated, “We are fully prepared to handle all potential emergencies, guaranteeing swift access to medical care.”
Diverse Ambulance Fleet and Specialized Units
The Dubai Ambulance plan includes a diverse fleet of vehicles, featuring ambulances, rapid response units, bicycles, boats, and air ambulances, in collaboration with the Air Wing of Dubai Police. Specialized ambulance units and support vehicles are positioned to manage various emergencies efficiently, ensuring operational efficiency and seamless coordination between field teams and command centers. Jalfar emphasized the importance of adaptability in their operational strategy, which is critical for maintaining high-quality service standards.
Community Support and Safety Measures
The ambulance teams will also be strategically placed near Eid prayer sites, residential areas, and recreational facilities, along with enhanced coverage at Dubai International Airport, where 16 ambulance units will operate within the terminal buildings. Jalfar called upon community members to facilitate ambulance access by making way for emergency vehicles, underscoring the vital role that time plays in saving lives and preventing serious health complications. He also urged parents to keep a close watch on their children in crowded or water-related environments.
This ambitious plan by Dubai Ambulance demonstrates the organization’s unwavering commitment to public safety and emergency preparedness, ensuring that both citizens and visitors can celebrate Eid Al-Adha with peace of mind. With robust measures in place, Dubai is set to provide a safe and festive atmosphere for all.
