Dubai CommerCity, the free zone dedicated to digital commerce, has announced a collaboration with the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park. This partnership aims to facilitate the expansion of technology companies between Dubai and Hong Kong while enhancing their access to markets in the region, China, and beyond.
Launch of a New Technology Exchange Programme
The cooperation will see the launch of a technology exchange programme. This programme will enable companies operating within Dubai CommerCity to explore opportunities for establishing their businesses in the Hong Kong Park, thus gaining entry to Hong Kong and mainland China markets. Conversely, companies from Hong Kong will be able to leverage Dubai’s business environment to expand their activities throughout the UAE and the wider region.

The announcement was made during the Dubai-China Business Forum, which took place in Shenzhen, under the theme of “Accelerating Momentum for Mutual Economic Success.” The event saw the attendance of Amina Lootah, Director General of Dubai CommerCity, along with several executive officials from participating entities.

Amina Lootah expressed that this collaboration supports Dubai’s efforts to solidify its position as a hub for the digital economy and attract quality investments.
