The Red Carpet at Dubai Airport Completes Travel Procedures in 6 Seconds Without Documents
In a revolutionary step, Dubai International Airport has announced the launch of the “Red Carpet” service, which ensures that travel procedures are completed at an unprecedented speed of just 6 seconds, without the need for any documents. This service, the first of its kind in the world, supports the smart travel experience and reflects Dubai’s ongoing commitment to enhancing innovation in the aviation sector.
Innovative Technology Enhancing Efficiency
The “Red Carpet” service is based on advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence and biometric recognition. By processing data in advance, travelers’ identities are verified, allowing them to pass through without presenting any travel documents. Notably, the smart corridor can handle up to ten travelers simultaneously, while special cases are referred for manual review, ensuring the highest security standards.
Reducing Wait Times
This new service is characterized by its ability to complete transit procedures in a time ranging from 6 to 14 seconds per traveler, significantly enhancing the airport’s capacity. In contrast to traditional methods that require processing each traveler individually, the “Red Carpet” service dramatically reduces wait times, providing a smoother and more comfortable travel experience.
Dubai: A Leader in Smart Travel
This initiative is part of Dubai’s vision to enhance its pioneering position in the field of smart travel. The launch of the “Red Carpet” demonstrates the UAE’s commitment to innovation and the adoption of the latest technologies in serving travelers, as Dubai International Airport remains the busiest airport in the world for international flights for the eleventh consecutive year.
With these pioneering steps, Dubai is embodying the new concept of travel based on speed and convenience, reinforcing its leadership in this vital sector.
