Celestyal Unveils Exciting Winter Cruises in Arabian Gulf

Celestyal is set to impress travelers with the launch of new cruises for its winter Sun season in the Arabian Gulf. These fresh itineraries promise an exciting blend of cultural exploration and scenic wonder, featuring stunning destinations across multiple countries. With four new 14-night repositioning cruises, Celestyal aims to provide an unforgettable experience for vacationers seeking warmth and adventure during the cooler months.

As part of this initiative, Celestyal introduces two new countries to its cruise offerings: Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The itineraries will include five maiden calls at remarkable destinations: Aqaba in Jordan, Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, Muscat in Oman, as well as Sharm El Sheikh and Ain Sukhna in Egypt. This expansion marks an exciting new chapter for the cruise line, emphasizing a commitment to diverse and enriching experiences for its guests.

This winter Sun season in the Arabian Gulf also signifies Celestyal’s welcome return to Egypt after a two-year hiatus. “A new 14-night ‘Ancient Athens to Amazing Abu Dhabi’ itinerary will be available across the two-ship fleet,” the company announced. Additionally, a returning favorite, the ‘Dazzling Doha to Ancient Athens’ cruise, will be included in the lineup.

Celestyal’s Winter 2025 Sailings

The Celestyal Journey is scheduled to depart Athens on November 22, 2025, with its first stop at Port Said. Travelers will enjoy maiden calls at Sharm El Sheikh, Aqaba, Jeddah, and Muscat, before heading to Dubai and returning to Abu Dhabi on December 6, 2025, in time for the world-renowned Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend.

Meanwhile, the Celestyal Discovery will set sail from Athens on November 28, 2025, following a similar route with an additional stop at Kusadasi, Turkey. This journey culminates with the ship’s inaugural arrival in Abu Dhabi on December 13, 2025, kicking off its first winter cruising season.

The new repositioning cruises will feature various bookable segments ranging from four to 13 nights, providing ample flexibility and choices for guests, the company revealed.

This announcement follows the successful return of Celestyal Journey to Athens this week, concluding an extended maiden season in the Arabian Gulf. Bookings exceeded targets by 27% during the initial season, which saw the ship homeport in Doha, Qatar, as part of a three-year collaboration with the state.

Lee Haslett, Chief Commercial Officer at Celestyal, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s growth. He stated that this 10th anniversary year will be particularly expansive, with extensive renovations throughout the fleet and a broader program that embraces two new countries, five new ports of call, and a long-awaited return to Egypt. “2024 was a record-breaking year for Celestyal, with our highest-ever bookings, thanks to the incredible support of our guests, regional partners, travel agents, and staff. As we look ahead, we remain committed to delivering unmissable experiences for our guests,” he emphasized.

Pricing for these new winter Sun season itineraries in the Arabian Gulf starts at $339 per person for a four-night voyage, escalating to $1,029 per person for a 14-night cruise, making the offerings both accessible and enticing for all types of travelers.
