Al Ain Museum has unveiled its summer programme, offering a series of educational experiences designed to engage visitors of all ages through interactive learning, creativity and an exploration of heritage. Running until September, the programme strengthens the museum’s role as an interactive destination for families, children and young people, with workshops, live performances, immersive activities and integrated learning opportunities that reflect the richness of the UAE’s cultural heritage.
Summer camp and behind-the-scenes learning
At the centre of the season’s activities is a summer camp launching in mid-July, inviting children to explore archaeology, the museum’s collections, oasis life, traditional architecture and Emirati heritage. Building on that experience, the museum will introduce its Little Museum Professional programme in August, giving participants the chance to discover what happens behind the scenes with specialist experts.
A programme designed to connect communities with heritage
“Our summer programme reflects our commitment to making heritage an enjoyable and accessible experience for everyone. By combining hands-on learning with authentic cultural experiences, we aim to inspire curiosity across generations, encourage families to explore the museum together, and deepen the community’s connection to the rich history and traditions of the Al Ain region,” said Omar Salem Al Kaabi, Director of Al Ain Museum.
Visitors will also continue to explore the exhibition Harat Al Hisn: Memory of Place and People until the end of August.
A living cultural and educational destination
Through its summer programme, Al Ain Museum continues to reinforce its position as a vibrant cultural and educational destination, offering distinctive opportunities for the community to engage with the history, heritage and stories of Al Ain in engaging and interactive ways.
