His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, arrived in the Canadian capital of Ottawa today for an official visit to Canada. This visit marks a notable moment in strengthening the ties between the United Arab Emirates and Canada.

Upon his arrival at Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport, Sheikh Khalid was warmly welcomed by Anita Anand, Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with other officials who were present to greet him. The reception underscored the importance of this visit and the strong diplomatic relationship between the two nations.
Distinguished Accompanying Delegates
His Highness is accompanied by a high-level official delegation that includes several notable figures. Among those joining him are Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, the Head of the Crown Prince’s Court; Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and the CEO of ADNOC Group; and Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Minister of State for International Cooperation.
The delegation also features Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade; Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment; and Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Minister of State for Defence Affairs. Further enhancing the delegation are Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, the Canadian Envoy and Chair of Dubai Chambers; Ghanem Sultan Al Suwaidi, Security Affairs Adviser to the Crown Prince’s Court; and Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi.
In addition, Mariam Eid Al Muhairi, Head of the Abu Dhabi Media Office and Strategic Advisory Consultant to the Crown Prince’s Court, Abdul Rahman Ali Al Neyadi, the UAE Ambassador to Canada, and Hamad Salem Al Ketbi, General Manager of the Crown Prince’s Ceremonial Affairs, are also part of the entourage.
