In a significant development for the region, Sharjah Electricity has successfully completed a range of vital projects aimed at enhancing utility services in the central region. Spanning from June 2024 to the previous June, these initiatives underscore the commitment of Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority to improve infrastructure and deliver high-quality services. The projects include high and low-pressure extensions, as well as the replacement of overhead lines with underground cables, ensuring greater network stability and service efficiency across various sectors.
Enhancing Infrastructure in the Central Region
During the designated period, Sharjah Electricity has connected utility services to an impressive 108 projects across different sectors. This extensive work involved executing 20 projects focused on road lighting and laying down 136,181 meters of cables throughout cities in the central region, including Al Bataeh, Al Mada, Al Mulaiha, and Al Dhaid. The total investment in these projects amounts to 106 million dirhams, showcasing a commitment to improving the quality of life for residents.
