The Centre for a Quarter of a Century for Theatre and Performing Arts recently concluded its “Imagination and Creativity Camp,” held this year under the inspiring theme: “We Imagine and Create… Theatre for the Future.”
A Platform for Emerging Talents
According to Sundus Al-Amoudi, the Centre’s Director, the camp serves as a training programme intended for members of the “Quarter of a Century” initiative, aiming to cultivate future leaders and innovators who have progressed through advanced training stages. It provides a creative space designed to refine participants’ talents, develop their skills, and offer them the opportunity to engage in a deep and enriching artistic experience.
Expanded Reach and Expert Involvement
Al-Amoudi highlighted that this current edition of the camp has been notable for its wider geographical outreach, being hosted in various locations throughout the Emirate of Sharjah. The event featured a distinguished lineup of local and Emirati experts, alongside specialists from outside the UAE. They facilitated high-quality workshops across diverse domains, including the performing arts, mime, and puppet theatre.
