Commitment to Quality Standards
The laboratory strictly adheres to quality and precision standards, having received the prestigious ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation from the Emirates National Accreditation System (ENAS) under the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology. This achievement marks it as the first laboratory within the Department of Municipalities and Transport to obtain such an esteemed certification.
Comprehensive Testing Services
Its scope of services encompasses thorough water quality testing for swimming pools, reservoirs, water dispensers, fountains, and water play areas belonging to municipal facilities. The laboratory identifies contaminants and pathogens to ensure safety. Additionally, it oversees meat quality in slaughterhouses through bacterial sampling and meat testing to confirm fitness for human consumption, ensuring it is free from contaminants and diseases.
