In a bid to empower the younger generation and foster a culture of community safety, the Dubai Police have launched a radio broadcasting skills training programme as part of the “Sawaed Al Aman” initiative. This initiative, organised by the Security Media Department in collaboration with the Council of Safety Ambassadors from the General Department of Human Rights, aims to educate summer trainees on podcasting.
Manal Ibrahim, Director of the Security Media Department, emphasised the importance Dubai Police place on students from various educational stages, engaging them in diverse programmes and activities throughout the year and during the summer break. She noted that these initiatives have a positive impact on society and contribute to developing a generation equipped with knowledge, awareness, and civic responsibility. Ibrahim reiterated the department’s commitment to supporting students involved in the “Sawaed Al Aman” programme.
