Details of the UAE Convoy
The new Emirati humanitarian convoy reached the Gaza Strip with approximately 15 trucks loaded with over 195 tons of food packages. This campaign continues the “Hamid Bridge Airlift” initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman. This step is part of the “Generous Knight 3” operation, which aims to provide humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people.
Relief Operation and Its Stages
The “Hamid Bridge Airlift” campaign lasted nearly two months, during which over 600 tons of humanitarian and food aid were sent to the city of Al Arish in the Arab Republic of Egypt. A special team from the UAE’s humanitarian aid was responsible for receiving these shipments in Al Arish before transporting them to the UAE humanitarian aid logistics center, where they are sorted and prepared according to the changing humanitarian needs in Gaza.
Lines of Cooperation and Partnerships
The “Hamid Bridge Airlift” campaign was implemented in collaboration with the “Generous Knight 3” operation, with the participation of several charitable and humanitarian organizations in the country. These organizations included the Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charitable Foundation, the Global Charity Authority, the UAE Red Crescent – Ajman branch, as well as the Al-Ihsan Charity and the Union Charity Foundation. All these efforts have formed a model of humanitarian solidarity and supported the comprehensive plan to assist the Palestinian people.
