His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan today at the Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi. At the beginning of the meeting, the Turkish Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his wishes for the continued development and prosperity of the UAE. In return, His Highness sent his greetings to the Turkish President and his wishes for further growth and progress for Turkey.

His Highness and the Turkish Foreign Minister also reviewed developments in the Middle East and the regional and international efforts being made to maintain the ceasefire in Gaza, respond urgently to the humanitarian situation in the sector, and ensure the unobstructed flow of sufficient aid. Both sides stressed the importance of supporting efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the region based on the “two-state solution.”
