The recent workshop organized by the Youth Council of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) focused on the acclaimed book “علّمتني الحياة” by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This initiative aims to inspire the youth of DEWA toward distinction and leadership by sharing valuable lessons from the Sheikh’s extensive experience as a dedicated leader and public servant. The event, held at the Mohammed bin Rashid Library, highlighted significant takeaways from the Sheikh’s six decades of wisdom, showcasing the themes of national service, altruism, and the importance of shared values.
Emphasizing Leadership Through Lessons Learned
During the workshop, Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, the CEO of DEWA, emphasized the profound teachings of the book, stating, “كتاب (علّمتني الحياة) مدرسة فكرية وإنسانية متكاملة يقدم من خلالها صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه الله، خلاصة ستة عقود من الحكمة والخبرة.” He articulated how the book serves as a foundation for instilling the values of leadership and diligence among the youth, reinforcing their role as architects of the future.
