Engineer Youssef Khamees Al Othmani, the head of the authority, confirmed that the plan takes peak times into account to enhance traffic flow, emphasizing the necessity of providing safe and effective services for citizens and visitors.
Improving Wait Times and Facilitating Movement

Station Operations and Service Enhancement
Operations at Al Jubail Station will run during the holiday from 3:45 AM to 12:30 AM, ensuring that public needs are met at various times. Engineer Al Othmani noted that the authority will increase the number of on-duty staff to ensure the organization of passenger movement and provide guidance and support as needed, reflecting the authority’s commitment to ensuring an enjoyable and safe travel experience.
Response to Field Changes
Engineer Al Othmani confirmed that the operational plan was built on an in-depth analysis of the expected movement of people, allowing for immediate adjustments to plans based on field changes. Through precise monitoring mechanisms, the authority will be able to adapt services to meet the increasing needs of users during the holiday period.
With these ambitious plans, the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority remains committed to providing a seamless and comfortable transport experience, reflecting significant advancements in public transport infrastructure and enhancing the emirate’s efforts towards achieving a high quality of life.
