Hamdan bin Mohammed Launches “Aviation Talents 33” Initiative to Provide 15,000 Job Opportunities for Citizens
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, announced the launch of the “Aviation Talents 33” initiative, aimed at enhancing Dubai’s position as a global aviation capital. The initiative includes the provision of 15,000 job opportunities for citizens by attracting and fostering local skills in the aviation sector, at a time when demand for competencies in this field is increasing. This initiative aims to elevate the sector and achieve further growth in the local economy.
Strategic Framework of the Initiative
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed chaired the Executive Council meeting during the annual meetings of the UAE government, where the “Aviation Talents 33” initiative was approved. This initiative seeks to create a unified pathway for citizens to acquire the necessary skills in aviation fields, supported by artificial intelligence employment. This framework contributes to ensuring a bright future for the nation by preparing qualified personnel in various aviation specialties.
Objectives of the Initiative
The “Aviation Talents 33” initiative focuses on preparing national and global talent ready to face future challenges. The main objective is to enhance the role of Emirati competencies in the aviation sector, as well as to provide more than 15,000 job opportunities and 4,000 training opportunities. The initiative also aims to strengthen strategic partnerships with over 30 companies in the aviation sector, reflecting the government’s commitment to localizing jobs and attracting top talents.
Contribution to Dubai’s Economic Agenda
This initiative contributes to achieving the strategic objectives of Dubai’s economic agenda, D33, which aims to double the size of Dubai’s economy and attract investments of up to 650 billion dirhams. The initiative also seeks to integrate 65,000 Emirati citizens into the private sector, enhancing Dubai’s position as an international aviation hub and attracting talent to the workforce in the sector.

“Aviation Talents 33” will benefit from the support of a steering committee from the aviation sector, which will work to identify strategic directions and ensure policy alignment with investment projects.
