In an innovative initiative aimed at connecting youth from diverse backgrounds, the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) brought together over 150 young Emiratis for the Knowledge Youth Forum 2026. Held at ICESCO’s regional office in Sharjah, this event featured a digital twinning experience that linked participants in Sharjah with the main forum taking place in Rabat, Morocco.
A Unique Digital Twin Experience
The forum adopted a synchronised approach that engaged youth, experts, and specialists across five cities: Rabat, Sharjah, Cairo, Baku, and Kazan. This digital twinning facilitated a rich international learning experience for Emirati youth, transcending geographical limitations. By participating in discussions and exchanging insights about pressing future issues, attendees were able to broaden their horizons and foster meaningful interactions.
Empowering Emirati Youth
The event aimed not only to empower the Emirati youth but also to provide a platform for them to actively engage with global challenges. Participants were encouraged to share their viewpoints and learn from the experiences of others, effectively promoting collaboration among young leaders from various cultural backgrounds.
This initiative exemplifies ICESCO’s commitment to fostering educational and cultural dialogue worldwide, ensuring that the youth play a vital role in shaping a promising future through knowledge-sharing and collaborative efforts.
