The 23rd edition of the Ajman International Arabian Horse Championship is set to enhance its reputation with the appointment of 10 esteemed judges from the UAE and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. This strategic move aims to strengthen the growing trust in the championship among owners, breeders, and experts, showcasing its commitment to the highest standards of precision, neutrality, and professionalism in evaluating purebred Arabian horses. The panel of 10 judges reflects a blend of local and regional expertise, making the event a hallmark of excellence in equestrian evaluation.
Judging Panel Composition
The judging committee consists of three judges from the UAE, three from Bahrain, two from Kuwait, and one each from Qatar and Saudi Arabia. This diverse panel ensures a comprehensive and accurate technical evaluation, grounded in cumulative experience from both regional and international competitions. Additionally, two judges from Kuwait and Bahrain will oversee the competition proceedings, while a disciplinary committee made up of four members from the UAE ensures a clear division of responsibilities and organizational precision.
Commitment to Integrity and Transparency
The organizing committee stated, “This approach is a continuation of the championship’s strategy since 2019, focused on empowering Gulf talents and exchanging judging expertise while building a technical system capable of keeping pace with the evolution in Arabian horse beauty championships.” This initiative not only enhances the quality of the judging process but also promotes a spirit of collaboration among the Gulf nations.
Technological Advancements in Judging
In an effort to further ensure integrity and transparency, this year’s championship will implement the “Ribdan” electronic judging system. This innovative approach allows for scores to be entered directly via tablets, with results calculated automatically after excluding the highest and lowest scores. The real-time results will be displayed on both the field screens and digital platforms, guaranteeing accuracy and fairness in evaluation, and striking a balance between human expertise and modern technology.
Fostering a Culture of Professionalism
The committee concluded, “This judging direction confirms that the Ajman Championship not only focuses on the beauty of the horses but also invests in the quality of decision-making and evaluation professionalism, reinforcing its status as a reliable regional platform that celebrates the beauty of Arabian horses and supports their future journey.” As the event approaches, the collaboration of 10 judges promises an exciting showcase of talent and beauty in the Arabian horse world.
