This initiative, guided by the vision of Dubai‘s leadership, aims to provide citizens with comprehensive and sustainable housing solutions, ensuring that homeownership remains within reach for many families.

Scope of the Housing Initiatives

Following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, 1.725 billion dirhams in housing facilities were provided by the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment with the delivery of 3,027 housing facilities. This financial support exceeds 1.725 billion dirhams, aimed at enhancing the welfare of its citizens. The offerings encompass 1,390 housing solutions valued at 1.184 billion dirhams for construction, maintenance, and home purchases.

Comprehensive Housing Packages

The housing package includes not only loans but also grants that extend support for homeownership. Among the total, there are 935 housing grants amounting to 540.3 million dirhams for maintenance, construction, and property acquisition. Additionally, 695 land grants have been introduced to further empower citizens in securing suitable housing options as part of this integrated support system.

Leadership and Vision for Housing

Acting Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, Mohammed Hassan Al Shahi, emphasized that these initiatives embody the leadership’s vision of empowering citizens through high-quality housing solutions. He stated, “We are committed to translating the noble directives into tangible results by innovating a flexible and comprehensive housing system that relies on efficiency and service quality, thus contributing to enhanced family and social stability.”

Alignment with Future Goals

These efforts are closely aligned with the objectives of Dubai’s Urban Plan 2040 and the Dubai Social Agenda D33. Both initiatives aim to elevate the status of the emirate as a leader in quality of life, driven by a robust and sustainable housing framework that promotes economic growth and fosters community cohesion. The delivery of 1.725 billion dirhams in housing facilities provided by the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment in the first half marks a robust step toward achieving these ambitious goals.
