Youth Social Missions Conclude with Impact in Brave Knight 3

The second batch of the “Social Missions for Youth” program, organized by the Federal Youth Foundation, has successfully concluded its humanitarian efforts as part of “Al-Faris Al-Shahim 3” in the city of Arish, Egypt. This initiative symbolizes the UAE’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian giving and support for Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip. The program not only aims to provide assistance but also to empower Emirati youth and instill in them a sense of responsibility towards global humanitarian issues.

National Priorities in Humanitarian Efforts

During the keynote speech, Khalid Al-Naimi, Director of the Federal Youth Foundation, emphasized the UAE leadership’s commitment to prioritizing humanitarian work. “The wise leadership places humanitarian work at the core of the country’s priorities, motivating the youth of the UAE to become ambassadors of giving and responsibility,” he stated. This perspective fosters an environment that allows young people to gain practical experience while reinforcing noble national values such as solidarity, compassion, and dedication to serving others. Every experience young individuals have in these fields reflects their steadfast dedication to making a positive difference in society and in the lives of others.

He further added, “The involvement of Emirati youth in this humanitarian mission sends a strong message to the world that supporting those in need is both a national and humanitarian duty, embodying the identity and core principles of the UAE. Today’s youth represent the UAE in the best light, spreading goodwill and exemplifying humanitarian values that enhance the nation’s stature and underscore its noble mission of fostering global peace and prosperity.”

Youth Engagement and Responsibilities

Rashed Ghanem Al-Shamsi, Director of Empowerment at the Federal Youth Foundation, commented on the significance of the second batch’s experience in “Al-Faris Al-Shahim 3”. He remarked, “This experience illustrates the active role of Emirati youth in international humanitarian efforts and their capacity to shoulder responsibilities.” The youth participated in distributing food and medical aid, supporting logistics teams, and overseeing water delivery operations as part of the “Emirati Lifeline” initiative to Gaza. This engagement not only honed their skills but also heightened their awareness of global humanitarian issues, reaffirming their ability to make a tangible positive impact in the lives of others.

Delivering Support Effectively

Ten Emirati youth participated in the mission, embodying values of giving and solidarity while contributing to the delivery of humanitarian aid to those in need. The team included Sultan Abdullah Al-Marzouqi, Kholoud Ahmed Al-Marzouqi, Hasan Khalid Al-Dahhani, Mariam Yousef Al-Suwaidi, Jumaa Badr Al-Kaabi, Aisha Ghulam Abdulrazak, Hamid Abdullah Yousef, Fatima Mohammed Al-Shahi, Nawaf Ahmed Abdulqader, and Saif Saeed Al-Shahi.

Their field tasks included packing 1,300 food parcels, distributing medical assistance, and providing educational and social activities, as well as psychological support for children and patients aboard a floating hospital. Additionally, they operated water desalination stations to enhance vital aid delivery to Gaza residents. This experience exemplified the spirit of responsibility and professionalism that characterizes Emirati youth. It is noteworthy that the “Social Missions for Youth” program aligns with the “Community and Values” pillar of the National Youth Agenda 2031, aiming to empower Emirati youth to engage in humanitarian, cultural, and developmental missions, thus cultivating a new generation of humanitarian ambassadors for the UAE on both regional and international levels.
