April Unveils Winners of Khalifa Education Award

The announcement of the winners for the Khalifa Educational Award is eagerly anticipated every year, representing a celebration of excellence in education across various sectors. This prestigious award recognizes the significant contributions of educators and institutions in shaping the educational landscape. The Khalifa Educational Award is set to reveal the names of the winners in April, highlighting remarkable achievements and innovations in the field.

Recently, the General Secretariat of the Khalifa Educational Award, part of the Zayed Humanitarian Foundation, announced the conclusion of the acceptance of nomination applications for its nineteenth session for 2025-2026. This cycle commenced in July and is gearing up for an exciting conclusion, with the announcement of the winners scheduled for the end of April.

During this session, ten fields are featured, spread across 17 categories. Hamid Al-Hooti, the Secretary-General of the award, expressed appreciation for the broad response from the educational community, both locally and internationally, for participation in this cycle. He emphasized that this reflects the award’s prominent standing in the educational sector.

According to the current session’s timeline, preliminary screening will begin immediately by specialized committees once the nomination period closes. Following this, the evaluation and judging of nominated works that meet specific criteria for each field and category will be conducted. Al-Hooti stressed that this process is carried out with complete objectivity and transparency, aligning with the award’s vision and mission to promote a culture of excellence in educational and academic fields at all levels.

This process will also include field visits to several educational and community institutions that have made it to the final list. These visits aim to assess the positive impact of the proposed projects and initiatives on both the educational landscape and the local community. Al-Hooti further noted that the current cycle has seen numerous activities and visits at both local and international levels to showcase the offered fields and strengthen cooperative ties with various countries and esteemed academic institutions worldwide. This is particularly relevant to the Khalifa International Award for Early Education, which recently involved a delegation from the award’s General Secretariat visiting Rwanda and participating in scientific conferences in the United States and Hong Kong.

Additionally, several local exhibitions and significant events across the country helped expand the communication base with various components of the educational process. Al-Hooti acknowledged the tireless efforts made by the award’s teams, national coordinators in the Arab world and globally, as well as the judges from a wide range of prestigious educational and academic institutions, each within their scientific specialties.
