The United Arab Emirates continues to provide unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people, reflecting the steadfast commitment of the Emirati leadership to humanitarian goals. This commitment is embodied in the efforts of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives,” which has prepared over 10 million meals under the “Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship,” contributing to support for those affected in Gaza. This collaboration aligns with the “Brave Knight 3” operation launched by the UAE to address the urgent needs of the residents of the sector. The UAE will remain a supporter and ally of the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people.
Pioneering Humanitarian Efforts
Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives” has executed a project at unprecedented speed. The organization completed the preparation of over 10 million meals in record time, supported by comprehensive efforts to assist the people of Gaza, in line with the UAE’s consistent policy of standing by its brothers, particularly the Palestinian people.
Community Engagement
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed his pride in the extensive community engagement with this initiative, praising the participation of more than 20,000 volunteers in packing and distributing the meals. He stated, “I am proud of everyone racing to participate… This is the love that the people of the UAE hold for the children of Palestine and its people.” This expression of solidarity reflects the true spirit of the people of Zayed and demonstrates the unique camaraderie that characterizes the Emirati people.
Long-Term Commitment
The needs of the Palestinian people have not arisen overnight; they extend over decades. The Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, confirmed that the UAE’s support for the Palestinian people represents a steadfast approach to meeting the needs of its brothers. The expression of humanitarian aspirations through the “Mohammed bin Rashid Humanitarian Ship” continues to strengthen the UAE’s unwavering stance in favor of the Palestinian brothers.
Sustainable Achievements
The UAE’s efforts to support the Palestinian cause go beyond providing immediate assistance; the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives” is working on comprehensive strategies to support local communities. In 2024, more than 2.2 billion dirhams were allocated for relief and humanitarian aid, highlighting its commitment to support the Palestinian people and other countries in emergency situations. This achievement reflects ongoing efforts to achieve multiple humanitarian goals in line with the directives of the Emirati leadership.
