UAE Sends 260 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

This week, two humanitarian aid convoys from the United Arab Emirates successfully entered the Gaza Strip, delivering 10 trucks loaded with a total of 260 tonnes of food supplies. This initiative is part of the ongoing “Al-Faris Al-Shahim 3” operation, which aims to support the Palestinian people by addressing their essential needs.

Significant Contributions to Gaza

With this recent delivery, the total number of trucks that have entered Gaza as part of the “Al-Faris Al-Shahim 3” operation has now reached 14,594, contributing a cumulative total of 138,290 tonnes of humanitarian assistance. This extensive effort demonstrates the UAE’s steadfast commitment to providing regular aid flows to those in need in the region.

Coordinated Humanitarian Efforts

The team behind the “Al-Faris Al-Shahim 3” operation continues to organise aid shipments through the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre located in Al-Arish. This logistics hub operates a comprehensive system that includes receiving, sorting, and preparing aid for transportation to Gaza, ensuring that humanitarian assistance consistently reaches those who require it most.

Commitment to Humanitarian Values

These recent convoys are an extension of the UAE’s intensive humanitarian efforts under the “Al-Faris Al-Shahim 3” programme. By facilitating regular aid deliveries, the UAE intends to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians and address their urgent humanitarian needs. This initiative underscores the UAE’s longstanding humanitarian principles and its commitment to solidarity and responsible stewardship in global humanitarian efforts.
