700 Water Drops by the UAE Rescue Team in Efforts to Extinguish Forest Fires in Albania

The UAE rescue team continues to provide effective support in extinguishing the raging forest fires in the Republic of Albania. By executing 700 water drops as part of their firefighting campaign, the team aims to contain the flames that threaten local environments and lead to the destruction of vast areas of forest. Implementation of Aerial Operations

Since their arrival in Albania, the team has carried out 28 aerial sorties using two Black Hawk helicopters. Despite the challenges posed by high temperatures and difficult terrain, the team successfully conducted 700 precise water drop operations, significantly contributing to the containment of the fires. These operations involved the use of over 1,298 tons of water, showcasing the team’s substantial efforts in combating this disaster.
