Launch of the “Hamid Air Bridge” Campaign
The relief campaign for the “Hamid Air Bridge” initiative was launched yesterday from Sharjah International Airport, which includes the shipment of 100 tons of essential food supplies to our brothers in the Gaza Strip. This campaign is generously supported by His Highness Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, in collaboration with Operation Gallant Knight 3. These efforts are part of the UAE’s humanitarian contributions to support the Palestinian people in facing the difficult circumstances they endure.
Impact of UAE Aid in Gaza
Hamoud Saeed Al Afari, the relief operations coordinator for Operation Gallant Knight 3, confirmed that the relief journey for the “Hamid Air Bridge” initiative commenced under the directives of Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, aiming to alleviate the suffering of thousands of Palestinian families. He added that Operation Gallant Knight 3 continues to implement various humanitarian initiatives, including a field hospital and the UAE floating hospital in El Arish, Egypt, which accommodates 100 beds and includes specialized medical teams.
Ongoing Efforts to Address Gaza’s Needs
The volume of aid provided by the UAE to our brothers in Gaza exceeds 122,000 tons, with a total estimated cost of over $3 billion since the launch of Operation Gallant Knight 3. In this context, Dr. Khaled Abdul Wahab Khaja, Secretary-General of the Global Charity Authority, stated that the authority actively participates in the humanitarian initiatives launched by Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi to meet the urgent needs of the people of Gaza and protect the most vulnerable groups.

The funding for the latest initiative also includes shipping a vessel of aid containing various necessities and food supplies to the Gaza Strip, valued at over 8 million dirhams.
