In an exhilarating display of camel racing prowess, the final day of the small-age category competitions for camel enthusiasts at the 2026 Khatami Marmoom Festival set a remarkable tone for the event. Dominance of Champions

The morning of the final event at the Marmoom racetrack showcased the impressive dominance of Saeed Jaber Abdullah Mohammed’s team, particularly in the open category. His camel, بشاير, clinched the coveted Khatami Marmoom Open Cup for the filly category, earning a substantial prize of 1.5 million AED with a remarkable time of 8:50:1 minutes. Meanwhile, the male camel الدرع, also owned by Mohammed, secured the open male category’s rifle, achieving the best timing across all entries in the سن الإيذاع competitions at 8:46:7 minutes.

Local Competitions Heat Up

In the local competitions, the excitement continued as زهرة, owned by Ali Hamad Ali Rashid Mqareh, was awarded the Khatami Marmoom Cup for local fillies, winning 1 million AED after a completion time of 8:52:9 minutes. Additionally, الياه, another strong contender belonging to Rashid Mohammed Ali Rashid Al-Obari Al-Falasi, took home the rifle for local males with an impressive time of 8:53:0 minutes and a prize of 800,000 AED.

Production Class Highlights

The thrill of the سن الإيذاع raced into the production category, where the camel وعد, owned by Saeed Rashid Ghadir Al-Ketbi, triumphed in the Khatami Marmoom Cup for production fillies, earning a generous prize of 1.5 million AED with a completion time of 8:50:6 minutes. In the male production category, صيفيان, owned by Mohammed Rashid Obaid Al-Meriziq Al-Meriziq, was awarded the rifle, alongside a prize of 1 million AED, finishing at 8:56:5 minutes.

Celebratory Atmosphere

Ali Saeed Bin Sarood, the Executive Director of Dubai Camel Racing Club, along with Abdullah Ahmed Faraj, the Director of Media, Marketing, Events, and Partner Relations, graciously awarded the winners their trophies in a vibrant ceremony that emphasized the cultural and organizational significance of the Khatami Marmoom Festival. Continuing the excitement, the morning session featured 18 additional races, particularly focusing on production camels, as the club adapted the schedule due to weather conditions affecting the region.

As spectators eagerly anticipate the debut of His Highness the Sheikhs’ camels during the upcoming races for the young category, the changes to the program promise a unique and heightened experience at the 2026 Khatami Marmoom Festival amid this exhilarating season of إثارة في منافسات سن الإيذاع بـ«ختامي المرموم».
