In a step that reflects the commitment of Ras Al Khaimah to promote sustainable industrial growth, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, witnessed the signing of an important agreement to enhance the development journey through strategic partnerships. The agreement, made between Ras Al Khaimah Ports and the Chinese Jianhua Holding Group, aims to establish a factory for high-strength precast concrete poles in the free zone, marking a new phase of industrial cooperation and reflecting the efforts made to achieve mutual benefits.
Enhancing Cooperation Between the UAE and China
His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi affirmed that this agreement reflects the strengthening of cooperative and partnership relations between Ras Al Khaimah and Chinese cities, solidifying its position as a leading commercial and industrial hub in the region. He noted that this partnership leverages advanced Chinese expertise and the exceptional investment environment in the UAE.
The Importance of the New Project
The factory, to be established in partnership with PHC Technologies, will be the first in the region to produce high-strength precast concrete poles (PHC). The factory is expected to meet the growing demand for sustainable foundation solutions, highlighting the significance of the project in supporting sustainable industrial growth.
Strategic Contribution to Economic Development
The new project will involve an investment of up to 120 million dirhams and will cover an area of 540,000 square feet within the free zone. The project is also expected to create around 500 new job opportunities in Ras Al Khaimah and generate annual returns exceeding 20 million dirhams for Ras Al Khaimah Ports, reflecting the drive to create more opportunities and support the local economy.

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi noted that this agreement represents an extension of the agreement signed last year, which included partnerships across various sectors.
