Sharjah Resources and Al-Bathaa Group Unite for Job Fair

In a significant move to boost local employment, the Sharjah Human Resources Department recently hosted a job fair in collaboration with Al Batha Group. This event, which took place at the Sharjah Cultural Palace, aimed to connect Emirati job seekers with approximately 65 diversified roles available within Al Batha Group. The initiative, supported by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the UAE National Talent Competitiveness Council “Nafes,” underscores the commitment to enhancing job opportunities for UAE nationals.

Opportunities Across Various Sectors

The job fair showcased a wide array of employment opportunities across multiple sectors, including finance and administration, logistics and supply chain, sales and marketing, engineering and construction, technical and artistic fields, as well as healthcare. These positions align with the needs of the job market and are part of the governmental program “Nafes,” aiming to bolster employment prospects for qualified nationals.

Targeting Diverse Qualifications

Job opportunities were available for candidates with varying educational backgrounds, from high school diplomas to bachelor’s degrees, in addition to specialized vocational and technical qualifications. Sought-after fields included accounting and finance, business administration and human resources, information technology, various engineering disciplines, marketing, media and communication, and pharmaceuticals among other essential areas.

Direct Engagement with Employers

Job seekers registered in the Sharjah Human Resources Department’s online system were able to engage directly with representatives from Al Batha Group. This interaction provided candidates with insights into the nature of the available positions, the qualifications required, and potential career pathways, thereby facilitating better alignment between their skills and the needs of hiring companies.

Commitment to National Talent Development

The Sharjah Human Resources Department continues to work diligently to support Emiratisation policies, enhancing the involvement of national talents in the private sector. By forging strategic partnerships with national institutions and companies, the department is creating effective recruitment platforms that attract and prepare job seekers in line with the nation’s goals to develop its human capital.
