The Sharjah Ladies Club is preparing to host the eagerly awaited “Summer Wonders Camp,” designed to enrich the summer experience for children and youth. Scheduled from July 29 to August 27 at its main branch, the camp promises a plethora of educational and recreational activities aimed at enhancing confidence and creativity. This initiative reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to supporting children and families in the community.
Continuing its mission to foster growth in children and families, the Sharjah Ladies Club is set to launch the “Summer Wonders Camp” at its main branch from July 29 to August 27. The camp kicked off across the club’s eight branches on June 21 and will run until August 27, targeting children and youth with a diverse array of safe, recreational, and educational activities designed to offer an enjoyable summer experience.
The camp serves as an annual creative learning hub that enhances participants’ confidence, nurtures teamwork, and provides a safe, stimulating environment for self-expression and the exploration of their ambitions and interests. The Collage Talent Center at the main branch will organize a variety of engaging programs that blend learning with hands-on experiences. Activities include crafts, traditional clay art, painting, concrete art, cooking, photography, and gardening, as well as a range of sports and physical activities such as self-defense, parkour, gymnastics, swimming, and ice skating.
According to Alaa Al Shanasiy, the Business Administration Manager at the Sharjah Ladies Club, “The summer camp extends the efforts of the Sharjah Ladies Club in playing a positive role in building a confident and creative generation. It promotes authentic Emirati values by offering quality programs that combine benefit and enjoyment, providing children and youth with a space to develop their skills and boost their self-confidence within a safe and healthy environment.”
The camp features a wide variety of activities across the club’s eight branches in the central and eastern regions. The Fitness Center will offer yoga, Zumba, and interactive games, while the Creativity Center will host a series of artistic workshops, including fragrance-making and accessory design. This variety allows participants to enhance their skills and invest their time in an educational and entertaining atmosphere.
Highlighting the significance of this initiative, Mawda Al Washahi, the Manager of the Sharjah Ladies Club in Kalba, stated, “Through the summer camp, we aim to provide an exceptional experience that combines learning and fun, giving children the opportunity to develop their skills and invest their time in a diverse program that meets their varied interests. This contributes to creating positive memories and experiences that enrich their summer break.”
