The program emerges in response to the rising costs of certain building materials and services that the construction sector has been facing.
Quality and Transparency at the Forefront
Under the “سندك” initiative, the municipality collaborates with various accredited companies and laboratories to provide citizens with cost-effective options while strictly adhering to established quality standards and technical requirements. Aimed at a selection of essential materials and services related to residential villa construction, the initiative balances quality with cost, promoting price transparency for beneficiaries.
Monthly Price Updates to Reflect Market Changes
One of the standout features of the “سندك” initiative is the commitment to maintaining a monthly updated list of prices for various essential materials and services in the building sector. This approach ensures that citizens remain informed about any shifts in the market. For instance, the price of ready-mix concrete starts at 265 dirhams per cubic meter for 35 MPa strength concrete, while cement is available from 12.5 dirhams per 50 kg bag. Additionally, soil testing services are offered at 600 dirhams for boreholes up to 8 meters deep, further underscoring the initiative’s comprehensive approach to quality and efficiency.
