Ras Al Khaimah Hotels Launch Exclusive Ramadan 2026 Offers

Record Occupancy Rates for Ras Al Khaimah Hotels at the Start of 2026: Special Packages to Attract Guests During Ramadan

As 2026 begins, hotels in Ras Al Khaimah are experiencing record occupancy rates, reflecting the emirate’s continued success as a unique tourist destination. Some establishments have reported occupancy rates exceeding 90%, indicating increasing demand for their hospitality services and visitors’ response to the rich experiences they offer. This exceptional improvement highlights Ras Al Khaimah’s strategies for tourism development and innovations in presenting new offers to attract guests, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

Hotel Performance and Its Support for the Local Economy

Hotel managers report that the high occupancy rates are attributable to several factors, including the mild winter climate, diverse tourist offerings, and the excellence of the services provided. According to Iyad Rasbeh, Vice President for Destination Tourism Development at Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, “High occupancy rates directly contribute to supporting the local economy and enhancing the competitiveness of the tourism sector.” Data indicates that the emirate welcomed approximately 1.35 million visitors in 2025, showing a growth of 6% compared to the previous year.

Strategies to Attract Visitors During Ramadan

Ras Al Khaimah hotels are preparing to offer special packages to attract guests during Ramadan. John Riyad, General Manager of Hampton Marjan Hotel, stated that “the hotel has started 2026 strong, increasing optimism about visitor turnout during this month.” The package includes an iftar featuring Indian dishes, along with a complimentary suhoor meal for staying guests who are fasting. Plans are also in place to organize special events that align with the spirit of the holy month.

Promising Prospects for the Winter Season

Hotels anticipate strong performance during the winter, focusing on attracting visitors who wish to enjoy the mild weather. Riyad noted that “the months from February to May see significant demand due to outdoor and marine activities.” Current data shows increasing interest from guests from international markets such as Russia and Kazakhstan, raising hopes for a successful season.

Diversity of Visitors and New Trends

The number of visitors from international markets has shown notable growth, with Russia leading the list of tourist source countries, followed by the UK and Germany. Additionally, the direct air connectivity with Ras Al Khaimah Airport has resulted in a significant increase in visitors from countries such as Romania and Poland. Ashraf Saleh, General Manager of Bin Majid Hotels & Resorts, confirmed that the tourism activity in Ras Al Khaimah reflects the emirate’s increasing appeal as a preferred destination, especially given the record occupancy rates.

Ras Al Khaimah aims to leverage these encouraging figures for the future enhancement of its tourism industry, focusing on providing unique experiences that meet the aspirations of all visitors, thereby strengthening its position on the global tourism map.
