Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Launches Air Bridge to Aid Gaza in Conjunction with Ramadan
In a move that reflects the UAE’s commitment to solidarity with the Palestinian people, His Highness Sheikh Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, a member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, has launched a humanitarian air bridge to aid Gaza in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative is part of Operation “Valiant Knight 3,” aimed at providing necessary support to those affected by the current situation in the Gaza Strip.
Objectives of the Humanitarian Air Bridge
The air bridge will transport various relief supplies, including food packages, health materials, and essentials for children and women, as well as other urgent basic needs. These efforts aim to support affected families and meet their living requirements during the holy month, when the demand for assistance increases significantly.
Collaboration with Local Charitable Organizations
The launch of the air bridge involves several charitable organizations in Ajman, including the Hamid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charity Foundation, the Global Charitable Work Authority, the Emirates Red Crescent, the Al Ihsan Charity Association, and the Union Charity Foundation. These organizations will prepare the aid and coordinate shipping and delivery operations, ensuring that assistance reaches those in need promptly.

His Highness the Ruler of Ajman emphasized that this initiative stems from the UAE’s steadfast humanitarian approach in supporting those affected, noting that aiding Gaza is a fraternal and humanitarian duty. “Supporting Gaza is a fraternal and humanitarian obligation that reflects the core values upon which the nation was founded,” he stated, highlighting the importance of standing alongside the people of Gaza and their commitment to humanitarian duty, especially during the month of mercy.

He added that Ajman, through its charitable institutions, will continue to play its national role in coordination with relevant authorities to ensure the continuity and efficiency of support. He affirmed that “the UAE will remain at the forefront of countries supporting humanitarian efforts regionally and internationally,” expressing the emirate’s determination to provide assistance to all who need it.
