On Sunday, May 10, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in Dubai will unveil the approved education system for private schools for the upcoming period. This announcement follows a thorough evaluation of the current circumstances, ensuring that both in-person and remote learning settings prioritize the safety of the educational community and the continuity of the learning process. The introduction of a new educational framework signifies a crucial step for schools as they adapt to the evolving landscape of education.
Evaluation of Current Conditions
The KHDA has conducted comprehensive assessments in collaboration with relevant authorities to determine the most effective educational strategies moving forward. This careful consideration aims to safeguard students, educators, and families while maintaining a robust educational environment. The focus remains not just on immediate adaptations but also on long-term educational resilience in private institutions.
In-Person Testing Plans
As part of the upcoming educational framework, the KHDA confirmed that in-person assessments will be conducted according to established plans. These measures are crucial for ensuring that students can effectively demonstrate their learning while keeping health and safety paramount. The Authority expressed confidence in the readiness of educational institutions to switch between different modes of learning, whether in traditional classroom settings or through distance education, as needed.
Support for Educational Institutions
The KHDA emphasizes its commitment to supporting private schools during this transition. By providing guidance and resources, the Authority aims to equip schools with the tools necessary to adapt to new educational norms. The flexibility to pivot between learning styles is essential in navigating the challenges presented by the current global situation.
