New Maritime Trade Route Connects Shenzhen and Khorfakkan Port

A new maritime shipping line has been inaugurated, connecting Shenzhen in southern China with Khorfakkan in the United Arab Emirates. Recently, a roll-on/roll-off ship departed from the Xiaomoh Logistics International Port in Shenzhen, carrying a record 6,068 new energy vehicles manufactured by China’s BYD Auto. This milestone signifies the commencement of a significant shipping route between the two regions.

Record-Breaking Shipment

This shipment marks the largest vehicle cargo in a single operation recorded at the Xiaomoh Port. The new shipping line not only represents a breakthrough for logistics but also offers a reliable solution for Chinese companies’ exports to the Middle East.

Enhanced Logistics Solutions

The establishment of this line aims to alleviate issues that can arise during the transport of vehicles and large equipment. It significantly reduces transit times, ensuring that shipments reach their destination within a period of 3 to 5 days, thus enhancing efficiency and reliability.

Expanding Shipping Operations

Since its opening in late 2021, Xiaomoh Port has expanded its operations to now include 12 vehicle transport routes. These routes connect to regions such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, Europe, South America, Australia, and Africa, further solidifying its role as a key logistics hub.

This development not only boosts trade links but also opens up new avenues for cooperation between China and the UAE, fostering stronger economic ties in the years to come.
