In a significant meeting yesterday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, engaged with Dr. Khaled Anani, the Director-General of UNESCO. This meeting, held in the presence of Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, coincided with the second day of the 2026 World Government Summit. The discussions focused on enhancing collaborative efforts between the UAE and UNESCO, particularly in areas such as heritage conservation, biodiversity protection, and advancing education as a universal right.

The meeting also included several notable figures, such as Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the National Olympic Committee; and Sheikh Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairwoman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.
