The Latifa bint Mohammed Award for Childhood Creativity, a prestigious award dedicated to nurturing children’s creativity, has successfully concluded the evaluation of written works for its 28th edition in 2026. With ongoing assessments for oral presentations, anticipation continues for the final results to be announced in September. Completion of Written Work Evaluations

Amina Al-Dabous Al-Suwaidi, the executive director of the Latifa bint Mohammed Award for Childhood Creativity, announced that the judging phase for the written work categories has been completed. The process involved specialized committees of experts and judges, ensuring that all evaluations are conducted with integrity and transparency. The final outcomes for oral works will be revealed in September, with a grand ceremony planned for mid-November to honor the winners across different categories.

Categories and Competitions

The Latifa bint Mohammed Award for Childhood Creativity encompasses eight main categories designed to foster a rich variety of talents. These include the memorization and recitation of the Quran, preservation of prophetic traditions, literary creativity, research and studies, artistic innovation, electronic programming, scientific creativity, and media literacy. Within the literature category, young talents can compete in poetry, short stories, essays, and public speaking, while the research segment includes subjects like history, geography, environment, and religious studies.

Objectives and Vision

The primary goal of the Latifa bint Mohammed Award for Childhood Creativity is to inspire innovation and creativity among children and youth, enhancing their intellectual and cultural capabilities.
