Construction of 7.4 Kilometers of Roads at the Sharjah Equestrian Club
As part of enhancing sports facilities and improving infrastructure, a new project has been implemented to construct 7.4 kilometers of roads at the Sharjah Equestrian Club. This project aims to provide a more organized and comfortable environment for visitors and participants, in addition to supporting athletic performance by facilitating traffic flow within the club. The construction of these roads is part of ongoing efforts to develop the city’s road network, contributing to an exceptional experience for attendees.
The Importance of Developing Internal Roads
The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority has completed the project to pave the internal roads at the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club, which includes the establishment of a 7.4-kilometer internal road network. These new roads help improve connectivity between the club’s various facilities, facilitating vehicle movement, enhancing mobility, and reducing congestion.
Spacious Vehicle Parking
The project also included the creation of 1,058 parking spaces for light vehicles, providing significant capacity to meet the needs of visitors and participants. Additionally, 44 spaces have been designated for trucks, enhancing logistical operations and ensuring that heavy vehicle traffic is organized away from light vehicle pathways. This contributes to improving traffic safety within the club.
Road Maintenance and Efficiency Enhancement
In addition to constructing 7.4 kilometers of roads, the project also included maintenance and rehabilitation work on asphalt layers covering an area of 9,789 square meters. This aims to increase the efficiency of the internal roads and extend their operational lifespan, which improves the quality of the road surface and provides a more comfortable and safe driving experience for users.
These efforts reflect a clear vision to meet the needs of various vital sectors in the emirate, supporting sustainable growth in the infrastructure of sports facilities. The construction of 7.4 kilometers of roads at the Sharjah Equestrian Club is a significant step toward improving the transportation system within the club and demonstrates the authority’s commitment to achieving the highest technical and engineering standards.
