The Dubai Police General Headquarters, in collaboration with the Community Development Authority in Dubai and the Emirates Human Resources Development Council, recently hosted an immediate employment fair at the new Hatta Council. This initiative is part of the “Sawaed Al Watan” programme, which aims to provide job opportunities for citizens and enhance their participation in the labour market.
Connecting Citizens with Job Opportunities
The employment fair featured various platforms from the organising entities, designed to inform job seekers about available opportunities and attract national talent. According to Brigadier Ali Khalfaan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Administration for Community Happiness at Dubai Police, this initiative forms part of broader efforts to attract skilled Emiratis and create sustainable job opportunities.
Focus on Youth Employment
Brigadier Al Mansouri highlighted that the initiative is particularly focused on providing immediate job opportunities for young citizens. The programme aims to reach individuals through community councils across various regions in Dubai, thereby enhancing their chances of securing jobs that align with their qualifications.
A Commitment to Social Empowerment

The Dubai Empowerment Programme focuses on supporting employable citizens and linking them to suitable job opportunities, thereby enhancing their economic independence and active participation in both society and the job market.
Collaborative Government Efforts
Al Shamsi further noted that the “Sawaed Al Watan” initiative models governmental collaboration in developing enabling pathways that respond to local community needs, ensuring that job opportunities are accessible to citizens throughout Dubai.
