As part of its efforts to enhance economic cooperation with global nations, Dubai Chambers, in collaboration with the UAE Embassy in Paris, organized an open dialogue to introduce French investors to investment opportunities in Dubai. This meeting represents an important step toward attracting French companies and enhancing their presence in one of the fastest-growing markets in the region. By highlighting the investment environment and available advantages, the dialogue aims to attract more French investments to support the local economy.

Notable Growth in French-UAE Trade
This event comes at a time of significant increase in trade activity between France and Dubai. In the first quarter of this year, 211 new French companies joined the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, reflecting a substantial increase in trade cooperation capabilities. The total number of active French companies registered with the chamber reached 3,275, representing a growth of 559% since 2016.
Future Prospects for Economic Cooperation
Non-oil trade between Dubai and France is a prominent indicator of the success of this partnership. The trade value rose from 18.4 billion dirhams in 2021 to 40.3 billion dirhams last year, reflecting a 120% growth over five years. The continuation of these positive trends is expected to open new avenues for French investors to enhance their investments and exploit available opportunities in Dubai.
We are pleased to witness the development of economic and investment relations between France and Dubai. This growth is attributed to Dubai’s numerous advantages, which provide a vibrant business environment and a wide range of investment opportunities.
