In its ongoing pursuit of leadership in the defense industry, the UAE’s Kalidis Group is participating in the 17th International Defense Industry Fair “IDEF 2025,” taking place at the Istanbul Exhibition Center in Turkey from July 22 to 27. Kalidis’ participation is a vital part of the UAE’s national pavilion, overseen by the Tawazun Economic Council, showcasing advanced Emirati technologies in defense industries.
Promotion of Local Talent
Kalidis Group’s involvement in “IDEF 2025” is its largest and most diverse yet, featuring over 15 advanced products and technologies from the defense sector. This participation aims to highlight the group’s capabilities and enhance the presence of national products at international fairs, reflecting the excellence and advancement of Emirati defense industries on a global scale.
Advanced Defense Solutions
During the exhibition, Kalidis will present a range of notable defense solutions, including the armored combat support vehicle MATV equipped with the “Hada” missile launch platform, along with various models of the “Hada” missile system. The group will also showcase a miniature model of the military vehicle manufacturing plant CLS and a mock-up of the cockpit of the B-250 aircraft. Training products such as the B-250T aircraft will also be highlighted, facilitating the demonstration of local capabilities.
Electro-Optical Systems Technologies
Kalidis focuses on highlighting electro-optical (EO) systems with infrared technologies, which are essential in modern defense systems. This technology enables precise surveillance and tracking tasks in diverse environmental conditions, enhancing operational effectiveness and showcasing the importance of advanced Emirati technologies in defense industries during “IDEF 2025.”
