The partnership between the Dubai Land Department and IBS enhances Dubai’s global position; the exhibition from 7-9 September 2026 brings together investors, showcases opportunities, and supports market growth and transparency.

As Dubai gears up for the 22nd edition of the International Property Show (IBS), running from 7 to 9 September 2026 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the Dubai Land Department continues to strengthen its strategic partnership with the exhibition. This initiative aims to bolster Dubai’s presence on the global real estate investment map.

The exhibition serves as an exceptional platform, gathering investors, real estate developers, government entities, banks, decision-makers, innovators, and experts from around the world. It highlights Dubai’s investment potential, showcasing projects and promising locations while fostering interactions between investors and key stakeholders in the real estate sector.

This partnership embodies a shared vision focused on supporting industry growth, expanding international investments, and enhancing transparency and market efficiency. It affirms Dubai’s status as a leading global destination for real estate investment, effectively combining the institutional role of the Dubai Land Department with the IBS’s international presence, which connects quality real estate opportunities with global capital and expertise.

This year’s event comes against a backdrop of robust performance in Dubai’s real estate market, reflecting its resilience and the confidence of investors in its competitive advantages. In the first quarter of 2026, the emirate recorded over AED 252 billion in real estate transactions, marking a 31% annual increase in value and a 6% rise in the number of transactions. The value of real estate investments reached AED 173 billion across 57,744 investments, with foreign investment increasing by 26%, totaling AED 148.35 billion.

A Comprehensive Programme

The 2026 IBS will present a comprehensive programme that includes a main conference, an institutional investors’ conference, the IPS Women initiative, interactive workshops, and specialised training programmes. This will also feature platforms for project launches, investor engagement, and discussions on the latest global trends in real estate investment, proptech, sustainability, smart cities, and financing.

A Quality Platform

According to Majid Al Marri, Executive Director of the Institutional Support Sector at the Dubai Land Department, “Our partnership with the IBS reflects the Dubai Land Department’s commitment to reinforcing the emirate’s position as a premier global destination for real estate investment. The exhibition serves as a quality platform for showcasing investment opportunities, enhancing knowledge exchange, and building relationships that support the sustainable growth of the sector. This partnership also contributes to achieving Dubai’s real estate strategy targets for 2033 by establishing transparency, fostering innovation, and raising investor confidence in the market.”

A Shared Vision

On his part, Dawood Al Shaizawei, President of the IBS, emphasised the importance of this partnership in enhancing Dubai’s standing on the global real estate stage. He noted that it embodies a shared vision to elevate the exhibition’s status as a global platform for the emirate’s real estate market. “By combining regulatory excellence, market knowledge, quality projects, and access to international investment networks, the 2026 IBS provides promising avenues for capital flows, institutional collaboration, and expanding business opportunities, thereby solidifying Dubai’s influence in shaping the future of the global real estate sector,” he remarked.
