In a significant display of activity, the Dubai real estate sector recorded AED10.7 billion ($2.9 billion) in transactions last week, underscoring the city’s vibrant property market. This surge in transactions includes a remarkable $39 million apartment sale in Jumeirah, highlighting the continued demand for premium real estate in the region. The latest figures reflect a dynamic environment where luxury properties are particularly sought after, setting a positive tone for future investments.
Sales transactions played a pivotal role in the recent financial figures, amounting to AED8.57 billion ($2.3 billion), as detailed by data from the Land Department. This sales volume signifies a robust interest from buyers eager to engage in one of the world’s most appealing real estate markets.
Between December 1 and 5, the department reported a total of 2,706 sales transactions. The increase in activity across various segments reflects growing optimism among investors in Dubai’s real estate sector.
Dubai Real Estate Last Week
Among the prominent sales in the latest transaction report were several high-value properties:
- An apartment in Aman Residences in Jumeirah Second, which fetched a staggering AED145 million ($39.4 million).
- A unit in Solaya 3, located in Jumeirah First, sold for AED99.7 million ($27.1 million).
- An office space in Vision Tower, situated in Business Bay, was sold for AED55 million ($15 million).
The Land Department’s data also revealed that mortgage deals reached AED1.52 billion ($414 million) last week, illustrating active financing in the market. Additionally, gift transactions during the same period were valued at AED613 million ($167 million), indicating a robust trend in property gifting among individuals.
