The Dubai Women’s Foundation continues its “Empowerment Plus” program by organizing a distinguished workshop titled “Influence and Leadership Power.” This program focuses on developing leadership skills for women who lead women’s committees in government and semi-government entities in Dubai. The foundation aims to enhance women’s capabilities and empower them to face various challenges in the workplace.
Workshop to Enhance Women’s Leadership
The Dubai Women’s Foundation organized a workshop titled “Influence and Leadership Power,” attended by participants of the “Empowerment Plus” program, including chairwomen of women’s committees from government and semi-government entities in Dubai. This workshop is part of the foundation’s ongoing efforts to strengthen women’s leadership capabilities. It aimed to develop strategic thinking skills and enhance decision-making abilities, enabling participants to effectively address professional challenges and improve their leadership performance in various work environments.
Strategic Partnerships with Educational Institutions
The workshop was organized in collaboration with Hult International Business School, reflecting the foundation’s commitment to building strategic partnerships with prestigious international educational institutions. Thanks to this collaboration, best global practices in leadership and management were shared. This partnership extends the previous collaboration between the two parties, which included organizing two editions of the “Future Women Leaders” program last year, involving 53 leaders from various sectors.
Leadership Themes and Approaches
The workshop addressed two main themes. The first focused on building a leadership persona and enhancing the ability to positively influence teams through the development of self-awareness, resilience, self-confidence, and effective communication skills. The second theme explored influencing methods in the decision-making process, where skills in persuasion and effective participation in collective decisions were developed.
Interactive Activities to Enhance Understanding
The workshop featured a series of interactive activities aimed at reinforcing theoretical concepts of leadership through practical methods. Participants engaged in group discussions on strategies for building resilience and career paths, alongside decision-making simulation exercises, which provided insights into real-life models of impactful leadership.
The “Empowerment Plus” program is one of the most significant initiatives launched by the Dubai Women’s Foundation in developing leadership skills for Emirati women. The program includes 22 leaders from chairwomen of women’s committees and spans an entire year, offering a comprehensive package of activities, such as specialized courses in leadership, artificial intelligence, and mental health. The program aims to develop analytical thinking and decision-making skills among participants, enhancing their roles in supporting work environments and preparing them for future demands.
