Dubai Attracts 3.86 Million International Tourists in Peak Summer 2025

Dubai experienced a tremendous influx of tourists during the summer of 2025, attracting 3.86 million international visitors from June to August. This achievement reflects the city’s success as a global tourist destination, with a monthly average of over 1.28 million visitors. The emirate relies on innovative marketing strategies and continuous improvements in services to enhance its position among leading tourist destinations.

Increase in International Tourists

Dubai welcomed a total of 12.54 million international tourists by the end of August 2025, compared to 8.68 million tourists in May of the same year. This remarkable growth indicates Dubai’s success in attracting tourists and increasing visitor flow compared to the previous year. Updated data from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism reflects a positive trend in the hotel market, with significantly improved occupancy rates.

Diverse Tourist Experiences

Hossni Abdulhadi, CEO of Carlton Hotels, stated that “tourism in Dubai is no longer tied to specific seasons,” highlighting the emirate’s transformation into a global tourist destination. Dubai offers a wide range of experiences for everyone, including events such as “Dubai Summer Surprises” and the “Dubai Food Festival.” These events contribute to boosting the local economy and energizing the hospitality and retail sectors.

Investment in Infrastructure

Developments in infrastructure and transportation, including Dubai Airport, which ranks among the busiest airports globally, have significantly improved the visitor experience. The results also indicate that the city’s hotels maintained high occupancy rates, offering attractive packages that included appealing accommodation prices and entertainment services, further supporting the increase in tourists during the summer.

Increase in Hotel Revenues

Hotel revenues in Dubai reached approximately 12 billion dirhams during the first eight months of the year, achieving a growth rate of 12.5% compared to the previous year. This figure reflects Dubai’s success in enhancing the hotel market and increasing the average revenue per room, contributing to a luxurious experience for visitors.

The success of Dubai in attracting 3.86 million international tourists during the peak summer of 2025 is a clear testament to its ability to remain a preferred global tourist destination, as the emirate continues to draw visitors year-round thanks to its diverse experiences and quality services.
