In 2025, Dubai is set to witness remarkable growth in its hospitality sector, with expected hotel revenues reaching an impressive 20.9 billion dirhams. This surge underscores the city’s status as a premier global tourist destination, bolstered by strategic initiatives and a booming international visitor market.
Strong Revenue Growth in Dubai’s Hotel Sector
The total revenues generated by hotel rooms in Dubai during the previous year topped 20.9 billion dirhams, marking a significant increase from 18.1 billion dirhams in 2024. This translates to a promising growth rate of approximately 15.5%, according to data released by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism. The rise in revenue reflects enhanced demand for hotel accommodations and improved occupancy rates across the city.
Key Factors Driving Increased Revenues
The notable growth in hotel revenues is attributed to a combination of factors, including an increase in the average revenue per available room (RevPAR) and a rise in occupied room nights. Last year, the average length of stay for guests in Dubai’s hotels reached 3.7 nights. Additionally, the number of booked rooms rose by 4%, totaling 44.85 million rooms in 2025, up from 43.03 million in 2024.
Daily Rates and Occupancy Metrics
The revenue from available rooms also saw a remarkable increase of 11%, reaching 467 dirhams compared to 421 dirhams in 2024. Daily room rates experienced a similar upward trend, with the average price per room rising to 579 dirhams in 2025, an 8% increase from the previous year’s average of 538 dirhams.
Growing International Visitor Numbers
Dubai welcomed 19.59 million international visitors in 2025, setting a new record for the third consecutive year. This represents a 5% annual growth compared to 18.72 million visitors in 2024, reinforcing Dubai’s allure as a must-visit destination. The influx of tourists significantly contributes to the rising hotel revenues, with establishments across the city gearing up to accommodate this increasing demand.
With the hospitality sector poised for such impressive growth, Dubai’s anticipated 20.9 billion dirhams in hotel revenues by 2025 highlights the city’s continued commitment to enhancing its tourism offerings and maintaining its status as a leading global travel destination.
