Dubai Courts held an evaluation session for the outputs of the judicial innovation accelerator program as part of its project to support the innovation ecosystem and its portfolio of innovative initiatives. The session aimed to measure how closely the submitted ideas addressed real operational challenges while also assessing their readiness for development and implementation.
Organizers stated that the goal was not only to review the concepts themselves but also to examine whether they could add meaningful value to Dubai Courts’ services and internal processes. The session reflected a structured approach to innovation, linking creativity directly to practical need.
The judicial innovation accelerator program was developed as a specialized platform to encourage collaboration and creativity across Dubai Courts. Over three months, the program brought together 16 employees across three teams. Participants completed 54 training hours, including four specialized workshops and six mentoring sessions, before presenting their work in three evaluation presentations before the assessment committee. This structure was intended to elevate the maturity of the ideas and move them closer to practical deployment.
During the evaluation session, teams presented the outcomes of the program, which included innovative ideas, working models, early-stage solution concepts, and implementation plans focused on specific challenges within the judicial work environment. The discussion also examined how well each proposal aligned with the needs of the courts and their customers, as well as the possibility of integrating the solutions into related operational plans.
According to Dubai Courts, the judicial innovation accelerator program helped participants move beyond theory and into applied thinking. The process encouraged teamwork, strengthened problem-solving skills, and fostered a more collaborative environment for departments working on shared challenges.

The evaluation concluded with the selection of the strongest projects based on criteria that included clarity of the problem, the value offered, the originality of the solution, and the quality of the presentation.
