The Dubai Community Contributions Foundation (Joud) has unveiled its newly developed digital platform, marking a significant step towards enhancing community engagement in Dubai. This initiative reflects the foundation’s commitment to creating an integrated framework for social contributions, while broadening participation channels for individuals, companies, institutions, and eligible entities.
Supporting the Dubai Social Agenda
This launch aligns with Joud’s mission to encourage community involvement in developmental pursuits and supports the objectives outlined in the Dubai Social Agenda 33. It embraces a collaborative approach, inviting all sectors of society to contribute to meaningful change.
A Comprehensive Digital Experience
The advanced platform offers a seamless digital experience, enabling users—including individuals and businesses—to create customised accounts. Participants can make immediate or recurring contributions, whether daily, weekly, or monthly, while also having the option to fund urgent cases. Furthermore, the platform facilitates personal campaign creation for fundraising efforts and allows contributors to gift contributions to family and friends, complemented by the issuance of donation certificates for various occasions.
Empowering Partners and Initiatives
Eligible organisations and partners are empowered to launch their own initiatives and campaigns through Joud, providing a broader reach to a diverse group of contributors. This enhanced platform signifies a transformative change in Joud’s operations, moving towards digital solutions that are more accessible, flexible, and secure.

Marwan Rashid Bin Hashem, Executive Director of the Dubai Community Contributions Foundation, stated that the launch of the revamped digital platform is a strategic move to advance the social contributions ecosystem in Dubai. It aims to expand participation, aligning with community aspirations and enhancing the role of individuals and institutions in making a positive impact.
He further emphasised, “We strive to establish a more integrated system that makes community involvement easier and more present in the lives of individuals and institutions, offering a variety of giving pathways—from direct and periodic contributions to supporting urgent needs and initiating campaigns, while empowering our partners.”
